Visit the ancient capital city of Memphis and explore the monumental structure of the Pharaonic city. Though little remains of this pharaonic city, the open air museum here is worth a visit. See the huge fallen image of Ramesses II at the museum.

● Saqqara
See the oldest pyramid of the world at Saqqara. Said to be the world’s oldest monumental structure, the unique pyramid of Djoser in Saqqara is part of a funeral parlor complex for the 3rd Dynasty king Djoser. Saqqara is an ancient burial ground in Egypt, marvel at the Zoser Step Pyramid that has a funeral complex including temples and tombs with tangled wall inscriptions. Take a trip to the pyramid of Unas, the Serapeum and Mastabas, also known as the tombs of Nobles.

● The Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx
The Great Pyramids of Giza in Cairo are one of the Old Seven Wonders of the world. The Great Pyramid was built by the Egyptian pharaoh Khufu around 2560 BC. Die Pyramiden und schöner Blick auf Kairo

Die Pyramiden von Gizeh, diese zu sehen ist ein bewegender Moment. Beeindruckende Bauwerke mit keinerlei Touristen darum, was richtig schön war. Auch den Kamelritt auf die Dünen war schön, von dort konnte man tolle Fotos machen.

Besuch der Pyramiden, super interessant

Wir unternahmen einen einwöchigen Badeurlaub in Sahl Hasheesh und wollten von dort aus die Pyramiden und das Ägyptische Museum besichtigen. Da der Ausflug vom Hotel aus zu teuer war (220 € ) planten wir die Tagestour mit Premier-Tours. Mein Vertrauen wurde nicht enttäuscht. Die Pyramiden sind echt der Hammer. Wir werden diese Begegnung mit unserem Guide Ali wohl nie vergessen!

Dieses Weltwunder muss man gesehen haben

Die Pyramiden von Gizeh, einfach sensationel. Es gibt eine Anlaufstelle, wo man die Pyramiden von Gizeh sehr schön fotografieren kann. Mit dem Kamel auf eine Anhöhe und man hat das Postkartenpanorama. Muss man gesehen haben.

Lohnenswerter Ausflug

In Memphis haben wir das Freilichtmuseum mit der Alabastersphinx besichtigt und die liegende Statue von Ramses II angeschaut. Diese Statue kann man als Highlight Memphis bezeichnen.
